Of the college’s more than 23,000 students, the estimated number of students of color is placed at 5,600. The programs offered by Metro State’s extended campuses are designed to fit students’ busy schedules through weekend and evening classes. These campuses serve the needs of adult learners living and working throughout the Denver Metropolitan area. Full-term semester classes are offered in the evenings, usually once a week while 8-week accelerated programs are offered on weekends.
In-state tuition and fees for 18 credit hours cost $ 1,835.88 while out-of-state students pay $ 6,582.48. Students are given access to various resources of financial assistance. Metro State has about 1,500 in-house scholarships.
