Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is a four-year public university accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It was founded in 1968 and has grown into a thriving metropolitan university. It is located at Nunn Drive, Highland Heights, Kentucky.
Highland Heights was primarily a rural site until the establishment of Northern Kentucky University.
