Rasmussen College is a regionally accredited, private, higher education institution located in 15 traditional campuses throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, Florida, Wisconsin, and Illinois and online campus with 24/7 support.
With over 109 years experience as a higher education institution, the college was founded in 1900 by Walter Rasmussen as the Rasmussen School of Business in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The goal of the school was to provide education for young men and women to train them for responsible positions in all lines of business thereby paving the way for them to become noble men and women. A shift in ownership in 1945 saw the school go through several expansion programs including acquisition of other learning insitutions as part of the expansion program of the school. Several new campuses were set up to accommodate more students throughout the region.
Today Rasmussen College not only has campuses across the United States but it also maintains a comprehensive online program through which it offers the same undegraduate degrees, diplomas and certificates in a wide-range of fields. This flexibility in scheduling classes enables any student who wants to study in Rasmussen College to do so regardless of the situation he or she may be in.
The college offers Bachelor of Science (BS), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), and Associate of Science (AS) degrees as well as grants diplomas and certificates in a variety of career-focused areas.
Cost of tuition for all courses at the college is US$420 per credit hour. Tuition cost includes books and other classroom resources. Financial aid is extended to help students pay for their cost of tuition.
