From an apartment house accommodating offices, a chapel and classrooms in 1945, Nebraska Christian College (NCC) now occupies an 85-acre campus located at 12550 S. 114th Street, Papillion, Nebraska. It boasts of more than 60,000 square feet of classrooms, offices, dorm suites, student center and cafeteria. It intends to continue its aggressive campus development for the construction of a student center/gym, administrative building and worship arts and preaching center.
Nebraska Christian College offers programs leading to Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology, Biblical Interpretation, Children’s Ministry, Christian Thought and Humanities, Family Life Counseling and Ministry, Marketplace Ministry, Preaching Ministry, Student Ministry, World Missions and Worship Arts; and the Associate of Arts Degree in Bible-Based Teaching, Education/Christian Ministry/Deaf Ministry, General Studies and Cooperative College Programs. Also offered is a bachelor’s degree with Biblical Studies major with concentrations in Christian Education, Church Music, Family Life Ministry, Missions, Pastoral Ministry and Youth Ministry.
Current annual educational cost is $ 16,200.00, but based on a typical yearly price increase, a student is expected to pay $ 17,172.00 on the second year, $ 18,202.00 on the third year and $ 19,294.00 on the fourth year. However, NCC offers the One Price Option which locks the cost for 8 continuous semesters. This option is available to full-time incoming students living in the Omaha Metro Area campus. The price includes 12 to 16 credit hours, room and board and all mandatory fees.
Found on the Nebraska Christian College campus is the Loren T. and Melva M. Swedburg Library which houses the main library, the computer lab, periodical archives and bible collections. Apartment buildings for married students are available on-campus. Various opportunities for recreational activities are presented by the Papillion Community and its surrounding area.
