In 1919, New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) was founded as the Columbia Institute of the Chiropractic. It primarily grew by merging with Columbia College of Chiropractic and the Atlantic States Chiropractic Institute. With its growth came the establishment of other campuses and clinics, aside from its main campus located at 2360 State Route 89, Seneca Falls, New York.
Degree programs offered by New York Chiropractic College include the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), Master of Science in Acupuncture (M.S.A.), Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.S.A.O.M.), and the Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (M.S.A. C. N.). Academic programs are given in a progressive, balanced curriculum of Arts, Science and Philosophy, as supported by mentoring and one-on-one attention provided by senior faculty members. State-of-the-art facilities complement the curriculum while academic internships and fellowship programs widen training opportunities in different health care environments.
The sprawling 286-acre campus of New York Chiropractic College houses some of the finest recreation facilities found in learning institutions throughout the country. These include the 32,000 square foot gymnasium, a nine-hole golf course, a practice driving range, a track and field race course, and a variety of outdoor facilities. New York Chiropractic College boasts of technology advanced learning technology and facilities such as state-of-the-art research laboratories and multi-media lecture halls with high-speed Internet and interactive video conferencing. NYCC’s three affiliated Health Centers are located at Depew, Seneca Falls and Levittown which are all in New York.
The estimated costs for one academic year for the D.C. program include $ 18,320.00 for tuition, $ 680.00 for fees, $ 1,440.00 for books and supplies, $ 7,730.00 to $ 9,484.00 for room and board, $ 1,800.00 to $ 2,220.00 for transportation expenses and $ 1,216.00 for personal expenses. Another cost to consider is the loan fee, when applicable. Tuition for the M.S.A. program costs $ 12, 674.00 while the M.S.A.O.M. program charges a tuition rate of $ 15,242.00 for an 8-month period.
