Piedmont Baptist College is a private and independent Baptist Bible college and seminary located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Founded in 1945 as the Piedmont Bible Institute, its name was changed in 2001 to the current Piedmont Baptist College out of respect for its Baptist heritage and beliefs.
Piedmont Baptist College and Graduate School is committed to providing students with quality and well-rounded education. It offers a comprehensive core curriculum of general education subjects that help pave the way for the students’ eventual choice of a major course of study. All courses and degree programs offered by the college include a Bible major in keeping with the school’s belief that no education is complete without a thorough knowledge of God’s Word.
The college offers Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as well as non-professional certificates on various areas like pastoral studies, music, teacher education, missionary aviation, missions, and youth work.
Cost of tuition and fees for academic year 2010-2011 is US$8,465 per semester for fulltime, undergraduate students living on campus. This includes tuition cost for 12 to 18 credit hours at US$5,190 per semester plus room and board of US$2,880, non-refundable student services fee of US$310, and registration fee of US$85. Other fees may be charged depending on the chosen course of study. For online students, cost of tuition per credit hour is US$325 plus registration fee of US$85. For graduate students, tuition cost per credit hour for master’s courses is US$335 and for Ph.D. courses, US$450. A registration fee of US$85 will be charged in addition to the master’s or doctorate tuition cost.
To helps students pay for their cost of tuition and fees, financial aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships is extended by the college.
