It is a residential, coeducational and church-related college, affiliated with Presbyterian Church, USA. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It is located at 163 Stormont Street, New Concord, Ohio.
The undergraduate academic program of the university includes 44 academic majors, 9 pre-professional programs, teacher licensure in 9 areas and 16 international exchange study programs. These programs lead to degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, and Master of Information Strategy/Systems and Technology. Adult Degree Completion Programs are also offered.
