Bethel University, founded in 1842, was first established with the purpose of training young men for the ministry. However, it also accepted student that simply wanted to get their undergraduate degrees. Currently the university has 6 campuses scattered all over Tennessee. Admissions for online graduate programs is more stringent and requires application forms, non-refundable $75 application fee, transcripts, 2 references, a 500-word essay, resume, entrance exam (differs for each program), and a filled out FAFSA form.
