Ottawa University is a private, non-profit Christian university in Ottawa, KS. Founded by Baptist missionaries in 1865, the mission of Ottawa University is “to provide the highest quality liberal arts and professional education in a caring, Christ-centered community of grace which integrates faith, learning and life.” Ottawa has offered adult education programs since 1974 and now operates a large and growing online education program. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission.
Ottawa University offers online degree programs in a number of academic subjects in the liberal arts, sciences, and business. All online courses are 8 weeks long and administered in an asynchronous format making them available to students at their convenience rather than preset times and days.
