Performance Training Institute (PTI) is a provider of online educational programs. It uses a career-focused approach and believes in hands-on-training. PTI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and is authorized by the New Jersey State Department of Education to provide private post-secondary career education statewide.

PTI’s approach is ensuring that they provide the best possible online education by sticking only to several offerings that they regard as their specialties. Because of this PTI currently only offers two diploma programs and no online degree programs. The diploma programs available at PTI are the Medical Office and Administrative Specialist Diploma Program (with concentration in Billing and Coding), and the Computerized Business Applications Diploma Program. PTI also offers a whole slew of online courses in General Business and Professional Development, Keyboard/Typing, Computer Software Applications, and Allied Health. As you can see even their online courses are mostly in the fields of Health and Business.

Admissions to PTI is a relatively easy process with only the following requirements: a high school diploma or GED equivalent, completion of the online Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam – Quick Test (SME – Q), completion of a questionnaire, and an interview by phone with an admission representative.

PTI is proud of its cost effective method of delivering education but recognizes that some students may still need financial assistance.
