Pima Medical Institute, otherwise known as PMI, was founded in 1972 in Tucson, Arizona. The school started by offering a nursing assistant program and has since expanded to offer various other courses to cater to myriad medical professions. Aside from increasing the number of course offerings, it has also expanded its reach by setting up ten more campuses in seven states.
In order to move with the changing times, PMI has also established an online campus. Established in 2006, it offers a variety of programs for students who wish to continue their education while fulfilling other personal and professional commitments. Bachelor Degree Programs in Radiologic Sciences and in Respiratory Therapy are available. Those who are interested in Associate Degree Programs may choose between an Advanced Placement Track in Radiology or a course in Health Care Administration. A course in Fluoroscopy has also been recently introduced.
Admissions information and requirements may be requested by contacting PMI through its website.
Tuition fees vary from one program to another. Interested parties may check PMI’s website for more specific information for the various programs. PMI offers a variety of financial assistance options, whether in the form of grants or loans. Applicants may check the website or contact the institute in order to identify the best option available.
