St. Joseph’s College, established in 1916, is a liberal arts college with two campuses in New York. The college is known for its very affordable education. Despite the affordability of education in St Joseph’s College it still maintains a very high quality of education and is in fact ranks 15 for the Best Colleges in the North for 2011, according to the US News and World Report.
Aside from providing quality education to the students of its 2 campuses, St. Joseph’s College also strives to provide working adults a chance to advance their learning and careers through their fully online programs. Currently, the college offers two online degree programs: the Bachelors in Science in Organizational Management program, and the Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) program. They also offer fully online certificate programs in Leadership and Supervision, and in Human Resources.
Interested applicants to either of the fully online degree programs must have post-secondary education and training. Although the Organizational Management program is a Bachelor’s degree program, applicants will only be entertained if this is to be their second degree. Ideally, applicants must also be employed full-time, although exceptions are made. Basic admission requirements include completion of the online application form and submission of official college transcripts. Additional requirements may be requested by the college.
Tuition for the undergraduate online programs at St. Joseph’s is listed at $555 per credit for AY 2010-2011. For graduate programs, it is listed at $650 per credit. Approximately 70% of students in the college receive some form of financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans (including direct loans), and grants.
