The University of the Incarnate Word is a private Catholic liberal arts university in San Antonio, TX. Founded as a women’s college in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the school became a coeducational university in 1971. Widely considered one of the top liberal arts colleges in the Southwest, Incarnate Word is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The University of the Incarnate Word’s Virtual Campus administers the university’s online degree programs. Online master’s degree programs are available in Administration, Business and Education.
All Virtual Campus degree programs are fully online with no campus visits are required. Courses are administered asynchronously, meaning students can login to lectures and course materials at their convenience rather than at set times. Accelerated classes can be completed in as little as eight weeks, allowing students to complete their degrees faster. All admitted undergraduate students are given all necessary textbooks free of charge.
