New England Institute of Technology is a private, non-profit technical college offering programs that combine analytical skills and hands-on training. It was established in 1940 during a time when technology was still in its infancy stage. It is located at 2500 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island.
More than 35 different programs leading to Associate or Bachelor of Science degrees are offered by New England Tech. Most associate degree programs can be finished in a short time of 18 months while Bachelor of Science degrees can be obtained within 3 years. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. Most of the programs have additional individual accreditation. New England Tech also offers online training programs through its Center for Technology and Industry in partnership with Gatlin Education Services.
Associate Degree Programs are offered in Aviation, Computers, Communication, Architecture and Design, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Medical, Transportation, and Building Technologies. Bachelor’s degree programs are offered in Game Development and Simulation Programming, Construction Management Technology, Automotive Service Management Technology, Interior Design, Digital Recording Arts Technology, Network Engineering Technology, Software Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Architectural Building Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Business Management Technology. Also offered is the Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
Tuition fee for an associate degree program is $ 17,550.00 for the first academic year and $ 18,150.00 for the second academic year. Tuition cost for a bachelor’s degree program is $ 18,750.00 for the first academic year and $ 19,350.00 for the second academic year. The tuition rate at the time of enrollment stays in effect throughout a student’s degree program.
