Home to more than 10,000 students, Murray State University provides a personalized college-town setting that makes for a comprehensive learning experience. Acknowledged as one of the leading public universities in the area, it offers traditional on-campus classes, distance classes and online classes. It is located at 102 Curris Center, Murray, Kentucky.
The university’s student body is composed of students coming from 41 states and 45 countries. Full-time undergraduate Kentucky residents are charged $ 2,988.00 per semester for tuition and fees. Part-time students pay $ 249.50 per hour. Full-time graduate students pay $ 3,393.00 per semester while part-time graduate students are charged $ 377.00 per hour. Non-Kentucky residents are charged as follows: Full-time undergraduate-$ 8,118.00 per semester, part-time undergraduate-$ 676.50 per hour, full-time graduate-$ 9,544.50 per semester and part-time graduate-$ 1,060.50 per hour. Residential college room rates range from $ 1,795.00 to $2,295.00 per semester for double room and from $ 2,795.00 to $ 3,422.00 per semester for a private room. A 180-meal-per-semester plan costs $ 1,327.00.
The programs offered by Murray State University are provided by its colleges including the College of Business, College of Education, College of Health Sciences and Human Services, College of Humanities and Fine Arts, College of Science/Engineering and Technology, and the School of Agriculture. The RacerCard serves as the official Murray State University ID and provides access to meal plan, flex dollars, declining balance, university libraries, wellness center, residential colleges, campus buildings as well as discounts to local businesses.
Over 3,000 students are housed in the university’s eight residential colleges which are all within walking distance to classes and other facilities. Weekday appointments for campus visits are scheduled every 30 minutes from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, Mondays thru Fridays. Saturday appointments begin at 10 am only.
