Northeastern State University’s (NSU) third campus is its Broken Arrow Campus which opened in 2001. Nearly 200,000 additional square feet of academic space has been completed in 2004 providing updated and state-of-the-art science, library, and classroom facilities. It is located at 3100 E. There are more than 3,000 upper class and graduate students presently being served by NSU-BA. Its typical student is a working adult in the late 20s or early 30s. Many students have taken advantage of the cooperative partnership agreement between NSU and Tulsa Community College (TCC). TCC students can choose to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree while having access to shared resources such as libraries and fitness centers.

The university is the lone public four-year university in its area. It offers more than 25 undergraduate and 10 graduate degrees. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission while all programs offered by the university are approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. NSU’s academic organizational structure consists of four undergraduate colleges, a graduate college and a professional college of optometry.

Graduate programs in American Studies, English, Business Administration, Early Childhood, Mathematics Education, Reading, School Administration, School Counseling, Science Education, Teaching, Accounting and Financial Analysis, Counseling Psychology, Criminal Justice, Higher Education Administration and Services, Industrial Management, Library Media and Information Technology, and Substance Abuse Counseling. At least four graduate certificate programs are also offered. Graduate programs cost $ 169.55 per credit for Oklahoma residents while non-resident counterparts are charged $ 399.55. Undergraduate programs cost $ 138.50 or $ 341.50 per credit for residents and non-residents, respectively.
